Updated 12/19/2018

We're excited to announce that the Grand Prix Barns are getting an upgrade! Our current stalls have been with us for over 10 years, and we couldn't be more thankful to the generous donors who made those first stalls possible.

The new portable stalls will be a little bit bigger (10x12) and we'll get a chance to perform some maintenance on the pad where they are located.

Our committee and staff would like to send out a huge "thank you!" to all of our generous donors who have contributed to this investment for The Horse Park. We like to say in the office: "memberships help us get by, but donations help us THRIVE."

If you would like to contribute to this project, we are still accepting donations for the Grand Prix Barns. Please see our flyer or contact the Main Office for more information.

Updated 3/23/2019

Have seen the concessions area lately? We've been making lots of progress getting Concessions ready for the show season! There's still some more work to go, but we're starting to see the beauty within.

Thank you donors and sponsors for helping us realize this dream!

Want to make an impact on the development of our concessions area? Contact our Main Office for more information on how to donate or sponsor additional improvements.

We’ve noticed that our picnic area gets a lot of traffic! And why not? It’s a beautiful spot to grab a bite to eat and hang out to watch the show happening in the Four Winds arena. This winter, you’ll start to notice some activity in the area. We’ll be working on expanding this space and making it more accessible for visitors!

If you would like to contribute to this project, we are still accepting donations! Please contact the Main Office for more information.

Mountain Home Arena Renovation
Funding Status: Closed. Please consider making a donation to another of our projects.

Updated 12/19/2018

The Horse Park is very excited to announce that the Mountain Home Arena Mirror Project is well under way and almost finished!

In the past few years we have paid special attention to the base and footing, installed new fencing, and now we've broken ground for the mirror installation! Thank you for your patience while we've put together the necessary details to make this happen.

Our wish is that our members and exhibitors will enjoy this arena for years to come. We could not have put this together without your generous support.

Donations for this project are closed! Please consider making a donation to another of our open projects.

Below you'll find information on projects we have completed in the past. Thank you for your generous support of the maintenance and development of this special open space.

Electrical Renovation Project:

March 13th, 2013

We are breaking ground on March 28 for the Electrical Renovation Project, which will involve the south side of the cross country course. We will make every effort to minimize interruptions and/or closures. Please comply with signage and check our website for notices!

Older Posts:

January 13th, 2013

We are proud to announce we have completed the approval and permit process for a complete renovation of the main electrical line run; currently we are supplied with a 200amp service, the renovation will result in an increased 1,000amp service. This again was a direct result of our Fund Raising Committee’s efforts and individuals to solicit contributions to fund such a project.  Thank you to all that contributed to this significant improvement to the Horse Park!

The new electrical line will be installed from; Whiskey Hill Rd. (near water truck filling station), across the cross country course, to the Horse Park office, continuing through the Sand Hill portable barns, up to the maintenance yard, then continue on to the show office terminating at the far north side of the main/portable show barns, approximately 5,000+ feet! This will improve our day to day operations of the Horse Park, although we will need to continue to conserve energy during large events. One of the greater benefits of this renovation will be a large reduction in the number of generators needed during events and the fuel required to operate those generators. In addition, we will also be able to upgrade our RV area with permanent power. The timeline will be from Jan. 21 - April 15, 2013.

During this project there will be areas of the Horse Park and Cross Country Course that will be closed while the installation is in progress. Please be aware of the traffic and equipment involved in this project and comply with all notices and posted signs.  Signage and notices are posted for the safety of all our members and their horses/dogs that share our facility.

Completed

Perimeter Fence Project:

We are exhilarated that this “dream come true” was made possible by an anonymous contributor to the Hose Park. We cannot thank this donor enough for making the Horse Park a much safer facility for all our members along with the added benefit of greatly improving the properties aesthetics with the new fence.
