We are proud to announce we have completed the approval and permit process for a complete renovation of the main electrical line run; currently we are supplied with a 200amp service, the renovation will result in an increased 1,000amp service. This again was a direct result of our Fund Raising Committee’s efforts and individuals to solicit contributions to fund such a project. Thank you to all that contributed to this significant improvement to the Horse Park!
The new electrical line will be installed from; Whiskey Hill Rd. (near water truck filling station), across the cross country course, to the Horse Park office, continuing through the Sand Hill portable barns, up to the maintenance yard, then continue on to the show office terminating at the far north side of the main/portable show barns, approximately 5,000+ feet! This will improve our day to day operations of the Horse Park, although we will need to continue to conserve energy during large events. One of the greater benefits of this renovation will be a large reduction in the number of generators needed during events and the fuel required to operate those generators. In addition, we will also be able to upgrade our RV area with permanent power. The timeline will be from Jan. 21 - April 15, 2013.
During this project there will be areas of the Horse Park and Cross Country Course that will be closed while the installation is in progress. Please be aware of the traffic and equipment involved in this project and comply with all notices and posted signs. Signage and notices are posted for the safety of all our members and their horses/dogs that share our facility.
